This class is a continuation of the first 4 sessions.
Classes are one-on-one.
Meet at the Purloin Studio or at a local coffee shop.
PowerPoint presentation and then a trip to shoot photos.
Bring to class: camera, tripod, lenses, extra battery and owners manual
First class: Intro;
Travel and landscape photos; be a traveler in your own town. We will meet at the lakefront and explore the scenic beauty of the art museum, Bradford Beach, or harbor and lighthouses.
Best time of day to schedule this class is dawn or sunset.
Assignment: Use techniques learned to take landscape/travel photos; pick a book, magazine or online site for continued learning about photography
Second class: We will meet at the Purloin or at a local coffee shop to review your landscape images. Next class is
casual portraits; self portraits. Tell a story with your portraits. Powerpoint presentation
Assignment: Use techniques learned to take portraits that tell a story.
Third class: Review portraits
Nature/macro photography (Visit the Milwaukee Domes)
Assignment: Use techniques learned to take nature/macro photos
Fourth class: Meet at the Purloin or at a local coffee shop for my Powerpoint presentation on the art of seeing. How do you develop your photographer's eye?
